Kitchen Suppression systems.
In today's commercial kitchens, higher temperature cooking oils and high efficiency appliances (with a slow cooling down) such as deep-fat fryers have combined to make fire suppression more challenging than in past years.

The Ansul ® R-102™ fire suppression system is an automatic, pre-engineered system, designed specifically for commercial kitchens to protect the ventilation systems and cooking equipment area.

Its heart lies in its ability to quickly detect and suppress fires. Ansul ® R-102™ uses an advanced extinguishing agent to ensure rapid flame knock-down and vapour securement.
Australian Fire Technologies has experience in providing fixed extinguishing systems to commercial and industrial kitchen hoods based on the requirements of local and international standards.
Also, as part of the ongoing maintenance requirements for Kitchen Suppression Systems, Australian Fire Technologies can conduct annual six (6) and twelve (12) monthly maintenance on these systems as per the requirements of AS 1851-2012

Applications:
The ANSUL A-101 Fire Suppression System is an automatic or manual fire suppression system using FORAY (monoammonium phosphate base) dry chemical agent for Class A, B, and C fires.

The fire suppression system is designed for use on large, off- road type construction and mining equipment (such as large excavators/shovels, draglines, haul trucks, wheeled loaders), underground mining equipment, and specialty vehicles (such as slag, pot and/or slab carriers, tunnel boring machines, solid waste handling equipment, and forestry vehicles). These types of equipment have large volumes of oils and hydraulic fluids under pressure.

The fire system described is a suppression system only and is not designed or intended to suppress all fires. It is extremely important that alternative firefighting equipment be available in case the system does not totally suppress a fire.
If an automatic fire detection and actuation system has not been supplied or has been disconnected, system actuation and discharge will not occur unless the fire suppression system is manually actuated.
Features:

  • FM Approved
  • Manual and/or automatic detection and actuation
  • Extreme temperature option
  • Low profile tank option
  • Rugged construction
  • Approved for use in under ground mines for either manual or automatic agent release (automatic detection System incorporating MSHA approved ANSUL® CHECKFIRE MP-N detection system)
  • CE Marked
